His band included drummer Kendall Kay (Lee Konitz, Kyle Eastwood, Alan Broadbent), bassist Mike Elizondo (Fiona Apple, Cassandra Wilson), and saxophonist Rob Lockart (Jeff Berlin, Doves), with guest appearances from L.A.''s legendary jazz guitarist Larry Koonse.
