Hello, My name is Jim. I am the founder of Ibis. I was determined to produce a CD and to record/produce it on my own and Ibis is the result. I was able to find some very talented musicians in the Bay Area and Ibis was born. Ibis is a five piece band in which three of us write. Most of the songs are from personal experiences with a few caution to the wind compositions. We had a blast recording and performing with each other. Please take the time to listen, you might be surprised! Rocky''s song was written about a close friend of mine who I had worked with for many years. One day at work he passed away in front of me from a heart attack. Rocky''s Song was the only way I was able to deal with the loss. Songs all come from the heart! Wishing you the Best! Jim
