In Letters, a trio from Iowa City, IA was formed in 2004. In 2005 they recorded a seven song self titled album and recently in March of 2006 they released their first full length album “An Exit Through the Clouds.”
Their sound derives from each member’s interest in different styles of music ranging from screamo to college rock to funk to pop punk. They mix melodic harmonies and smooth verses with energetic, hard hitting emotional choruses. Their strong stage presence, energetic live show, and true musicianship sets them apart. On stage In Letters commands attention, wrapping the audience in their sound, leaving them with something moving…something they feel that they are a part of…something they will remember.
