Recorded between April and July 2010, "The Trend Of Life And Truth" is a modern rock album that occasionally adds different styles to different tracks. Some songs are straight up rock, but others lean more towards pop or folk or even bluegrass in some instances. "You Shall Be Called" explores the piano pop of Augustana and Coldplay while "Amazing" is an acoustic ballad with a mandolin thrown in to add a small bluegrass element. "it''s Gonna Change" blends an acoustic/bluegrass/country feel with the touches of George Harrison/Eric Clapton slide guitar while "Full Of Lies" adds the Auto-Tune effect that so prevalent in R&B to a modern rock song. With good melodies and catchy hooks, this album has something for everyone and is sure to be enjoyed by a plethora of different people with different tastes.
