In 2008, Minnesota celebrated its 150th birthday, and the Minnesota Sesquicentennial Commission invited Elisa to create a collection of original songs and stories about some of the most interesting people to ever inhabit the state of Minnesota. With her usual wit, humor, and commitment to telling fascinating true stories that ought to be told, Elisa researched some of the most interesting stories in the state''s history. Within a year, Elisa had created a one-hour show full of her musically arresting original songs and intelligent and humorous storytelling. This is a live recording of a December 12, 2008 performance at the "In Their Own Words" Veteran''s Museum in Perham, Minnesota.
