Melissa M the front person and founder of Mojomana
hails from New Mexico where she developed her passion
for music at a young age. She studied dance and theater,
modeled through college and obtained a Graduate degree
while writing and performing original and standard music
pieces at local venues and clubs. Here on Maui, Melissa
formed the band named Mojomana in 2005. She writes
all of the original songs and rewrites the cover songs to
have their own appeal. Many of these songs are supported
and performed with Mojomana.
She also promotes and manages Mojomana including web page
design, press releases, networking, music editing, event planning
and scheduling. She creates direction and vision for Mojomana
using input from various creative sources.
Melissa''s songwriting and singing reflects her Spanish
Heritage. Hawaiian culture, it''s people and their music
influence and inspire her.
