Details:
SEBASTIAN SEE-SCHIERENBERG, a British violinist of Chinese and German descent, grew up in a family of artists and musicians. Sebastian first discovered his love of the violin at the age of 6 and commenced his studies soon after, giving his first public performance at the age of 9. Thereafter he performed widely throughout the UK.

He was awarded a Scholarship to the Royal College of Music in London at the age of 16, where he studied with Professor Itzhak Rashkovsky. There he won a number of prestigious prizes and on graduating gave his Southbank recital debut. Sebastian followed further studies in Germany with Professor Valery Klimov and also at the Tchaikovsky Conservatoire in Russia with Professor Maya Glissarova. On returning to the UK, Sebastian started coming to the attention of eminent musicians such as Tadaaki Otaka, Conductor of the BBC National Orchestra, who at a competition in the UK described Sebastian''s playing as "So beautiful. So, so sweet", and awarded him the First Prize. Others like violinists Igor Oistrakh and Rodney Friend were likewise impressed, and soon after, he embarked on an extensive musical journey which would take him to many countries in Europe, America and Asia.

Sebastian has held teaching posts at the Trinity College of Music London, the Lisbon Orchestral Academy and the Malaysian Philharmonic Music Chambers. He is regularly invited by leading universities and schools throughout Asia to give masterclasses and recitals.

Pianist ALFREDO OYÃGÃœEZ, is a graduate of Yale University, where he earned a Master of Music degree, studying piano with Professor Boris Berman. He also completed a Master of Music degree in Conducting with Professor Heiichiro Ohyama, as well as later studying piano performance with Professor Paul Berkowitz at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He was the Associate Conductor and General Manager of the UCSB Symphony Orchestra and Opera Theater, and a Lecturer for the Conducting Department at the UCSB Department of Music. He was also a member of the ensemble for contemporary music for 5 years as a pianist and conductor.
Alfredo has performed extensively in Europe and the United States as a soloist, recitalist, chamber music pianist and Vocal accompanist recording for the Spanish National Radio, Radio France, Polish Radio and Television, KDB, Santa Barbara, California and The Danish National Radio P2.

Alfredo lives in Mallorca and Copenhagen. He is on the Faculty of the Palma Conservatory of Music in Spain, and serves as the Artistic Director of the Deià International Music Festival and the Director and Founding member of the Camerata Deià. He is also a faculty member of the Adriatic Chamber Music Festival in Italy.

See-Schierenberg and Oyágüez regularly collaborate with concert presenter Susana Galván, touring Asia and delivering recitals and masterclasses.
