Anita Horowitz expresses her spiritual feelings through the dance. Her workshops in meditative dance are well loved, and so is her positive energy. She has channeled this energy into the eight original songs on this album.
A group of her family and friends, each with their own special mastery, have united to support Anita on this open-minded project. At the heart of the songs is the warm, soulful voice of Selina Horowitz.
Michael Horowitz added his distinctive style on guitar. The well-known Dutch violinist Monique Lansdorp and the young Roma clarinet virtuoso Sevgin Idrizoski both contributed their special skills and insight into traditional musical styles. A highlight is the duet Selina sings with her grandmother Mildred Horowitz on Nigun Shep Naches; a true meeting of the generations!
