The Spiraling Shape is solo project from Percolator songwriter Matt Collander, collecting forgotten song ideas, random noise bursts and other bits. Employing an open-door policy of collaboration, recording quickly and forcing instrumentalists to do things that might not be their forte, each song is brimming over with unpredictable performances and peculiar little details that demand repeat listens. Written, recorded and mixed by Matt Collander.
Phil Bertulfo plays drums on tracks 3, 4, 6, 7 and additional drums on track 9. He plays lead guitar on track 3, and plays bass on track 7. PJ Macklin plays drums on tracks 1 and 2, and additional guitar on track 1. Ben Sachs plays drums on track 10.
