Road to Oblivion is an Original Roots Rock band formed from diverse veteran musicians from around the Capital Region of New York. Band members include Tony Perrino, Don Holland and Sean Mack. The band was Launched in the winter of 2007 by co-founders/songwriters Alexandra Higgins and Neil Goes. The band entered the studio in March of 2008 to begin work on their debut album. Upon its completion in August of 2008, they immediately began work booking live dates and developing a dynamic live show that will feature all of the music from their debut as well as to re-imagin covers from classic and contemporary artists across the wide spectrum of Rock, Blues, R&B, Gospel and Country. Their second cd titled “ride or FLY” joins the rock and folk of their first cd and introduces psychedelic and more country influences.

Ride or FLY is a deftly woven tapestry of musical colors. The journey taken with the “Road” also visits a contemplative landscape of soundscapes, performed by Tony Perrino, and the breakneck howl of a blues harp.

Penned by RTO`s founders, Neil Goes and Alex Higgins, Ride or Fly spans wide vistas of contemporary musical vernacular, politically-minded statements and internal dialogues. The duo''s vision is a songwriting ethos of an American experience lived first-hand, confidently rooted in the blues, folk, country and 70`s rock influence. Alex Higgins delivers this 11- song tale with a stunning vocal performance of chilling sensitivity and authenticity.
