Possessors of the Cloud Part 1: The Believing
God is with us daily. He’s gently blowing the precious breath of life into us; His most prized and beloved creation. Our Creator quietly watches over us from the moment our eyes open in the morning until they fall closed at night. Yet often times during life’s challenges and heartbreaks we believe that it is by our very own strength or might that we have made it through. The idea that God’s grace has been bestowed upon us somehow eludes us, or the fact that his promise of new and fresh mercies each morning quickly departs from us. We start our day full of pride. Thinking only of ourselves and lacking the true humility of what it means to walk in the fullness of God. We are blinded by what we feel we control, we do not stop to realize that is God who has granted us real dominion over all things on the Earth. Yet again, we spend our days and moments not understanding the depth of that very power and authority. We then become powerless…trapped in only the knowledge of what God has spoken over our lives, but not believing the very truth of our Father’s words. We then only begin to merely exist in a world where our actions begin to resemble those of the dying. Why? It’s because we have failed to live lives disciplined daily by Faith. We have been living by Head knowledge but have lost the real Heart knowledge of who God has truly called us to be. Let us remind ourselves today of who created us; and remember that simple thought as we rest in the total power of God and allow His Spirit to cover us daily. – Kimberly Renee’
