After recording Just Five''s EP "Songs to Help You Cope" with producer Scott Zarific from Nashville, TN in 2008, group member Gary Michael Turner began work with Zarific on his debut solo project. It began as a creative outlet for Turner while the group began work on the next Just Five album, but what came out of the recording sessions was something that he never expected: A new sound and an outlet to express his creativity. "I''ll Make It Up To You" was the last song on Turner''s debut solo project, and was written with former Just Five band member Justin Cope. Gary Michael Turner felt compelled to revisit this song that was originally recorded on Just Five''s 2008 release"Songs To Help You Cope", and used it as the conclusion to his solo debut, "I Just Wanna Be Me". The song was a bonus track featured only on the limited edition CD release, but later felt compelled to share this rendition of this song as a tribute to Justin''s memory. Collaborating with members of Just Five on background vocals, Turner and Zarific have created a track that has an intimate and emotional feel, and is sure to reach people who have ever been through a tough break-up.
