In 2006, Iron Horse headed to Memphis, Tennessee to record their first album at the world famous Sun Studio, otherwise known as "The Birthplace of Rock and Roll". Engineered by James Lott, who has engineered sessions for U2, Tom Petty, Justin Timberlake, John Melloncamp, Ringo Starr, Carl Perkins, and Scotty Moore, among MANY others, the boys released "Iron Horse: Live at Sun Studio". In 2008, they returned to Memphis, this time to record a brand new album under Roland Janes at the legendary Sam Philips Recording Studio.
Recently, Iron Horse appeared as contestants on the hit NBC television show, "America''s Got Talent". Traveling across America filming for the show and earning their spot in the top 48 out of over 90,000 acts was an experience the boys will never forget. Performing live in front of 15 million Americans allowed Iron Horse the opportunity to appeal to a much broader audience than they could have ever imagined. Judges Pierce Morgan, Sharon Osbourne, and Howie Mandel were very impressed with the guys as well. "It''s obvious your very talented and great showmen", Pierce told the band after they auditioned at the Chicago theater in front of an audience of almost 2000 people. "You really got the audience on their feet...you turn music into a spectacle", Ms. Sharon Osbourne said.
