"Isakas nakts dziesmas" ("Songs of the Shortest Night") is ILGI''s 12th album. The shortest night is at the summer solstice, celebrated as "Jani" in Latvia. ILGI depicts traditional preparations and festivities from dusk until dawn through Latvian folk songs arranged in the band''s postfolk style. The result is simultaneously ancient and modern.
