The Lightning Bug Situation is Brian Miller. Miller was previously the guitarist for Jolie Holland, appearing and co-writing a few songs on her first three albums. He now lives in Philadelphia with his wife and daughter, where he is currently studying to become a couples therapist. Miller has also practiced meditation in the Zen tradition for about 12 years.
Whereas the last album''s theme was mainly about becoming a new father, “Call” is mainly about love and adulthood and relationships.
