Fast Ant is the brainchild of founding member, Anthony Cannuli (a.k.a. Fast Ant). He was in several rock bands before he decided to go solo and start a rock band of his own. Rock is exactly what you’ll get when listening to Fast Ant. The first half of album, which is a compilation of his best work over the last decade, tends to lean more towards the lighter side of the band. Songs like “In My Arms” and “Electric Bite” are beautifully crafted with some excellent acoustic guitar work on the latter. The second half of the album tends to lean more towards Fast’s punk and grunge sound. “Termites” is a rocking tune that provides the listener with a high level of unbridled rock with punk undertones. Fast never complicates his music, and, yet, this eclectic album can satisfy the most diverse listeners. Heavy, light rock with a catchy pop-tune added to the mix (“T-Rex”) help make this the perfect addition to any collection.
