Porquinho Diabo, formerly of Judith and Holofernes, recorded the songs on the Three Songs EP with the intention of including them on a more lengthy forthcoming release. However, as is often suggested of the best made plans, things did not quite work out that way. Here we have, instead, an interim release of three songs which were written and recorded over a long stretch of time spent sleeping on couches, coming to terms with the meaning or meaninglessness of life and finding unexpected solace. The idea of "home" appears in each song and hints unintentionally at a narrative. Of course, I guess hindsight can make connections with even the most random patchwork of memories and circumstances.
