This album was a long time in the making. Because the songs span over a longer period of time, they are a more complete picture of me. I had many songs I could of included that I love but had to stop somewhere(they will be for a future album)! I have lived in different European countries(Italy, France and England)and this has influenced the style of this album. I am also a prairie girl at heart and I believe my Canadian roots show through so this album is a collage of who I am.
There are songs that are about love, food, pain, fun, sex, deception and hope. When I play the songs live, I sometimes give a little background to each song but I also like the idea that when people listen to a song, they might connect with what they think it means for them so I won''t give it all away right now. Hope you enjoy it. x
