What we have here is DJ M.B. He has produced a track that is a very happy testament to what love is all about, and that we should celebrate it in all its forms.
OK, before I continue talking, I know what you are thinking: “That is nothing new, well, just bare with me for a few moments, because I will try to make this as short as possible.” DJ M.B. is an artist who is about to hit the 300,000 listens mark. Thank God I can tell you why. “The spirit of love” is the overall experience you’ll get when listening to DJ M.B. and also serves as an introduction to all of his tracks. So, if you do what I did, and like what I like you’ll find that many of his tunes get you in a better mood:) Its structure is not completely new. DJ M.B.’s style in electronic music mostly resembles the structured electronic music you hear on the radio, and there isn’t much originality about their structures. But still, I will forgive this, since if the structure had been more complicated, it would probably not have had that same “innocent playfulness” about it that makes this the cute love theme that it is.
Sound quality wise:
Most tracks today don’t have any hissing at all, but that is the least the first thing on my check list. This one didn’t have any of it though:) The second thing to check is the beat. No bass swimming in water sequences. Good, this tune didn’t have a beat with water in its mouth. But what makes this tune special, and why it gets a perfect score in recording quality is this: If you see all the bars on your winamp is moving, and you can still tweak the winamp equalizer without the sound getting all messed up, is when a tune deserves a 10 in sound quality. He is not the most original electronic artist out there, and his structure could be a bit more on the experimental side for my tastes. But, if you are used to the radio, then you should check DJ M.B out. He has a new twist to what I’d like to call conventional pop-techno, and he is a talent you would want to keep book marked if you like
