The Dinosaur Song was written years ago after hearing on the radio that killer bees were moving further north each year, and I thought "Well, at least the dinosaurs are all dead, we don''t need to worry about them stomping on our heads." And from that the idea of the song just grew funnier and funnier. I don''t know why kids seem to like this song so much, but I''ve had random strangers call me on the phone and ask if I''d visit and sing it to their kids. I''ve written over 200 songs and one of my greatest fears is that someday my obituary will mention only this one.
