Hallelujah to the Lamb Song Story!
Back in April as I was typing my devotionals at the computer, the Lord dropped this incredible melody into my heart. I had to stop writing and turn to my keyboard and release what the Lord was playing musically inside of me.
As with most of the songs I receive from the Lord, the words or lyrics, rarely come with the song at the same time. So as I prayed over the next few days I kept asking the Lord for the words to this song. “What is the central theme to this song that you just gave Lord?”
As I set down at the keyboard and began to play it over and over, I knew that this was a song from the throne room of heaven. That immediately stirred my spirit so much I opened up my Bible and began to ask the Holy Spirit to lead me to the scriptures or passage that this song was being birthed from.
I was then drawn to Revelations 19, verses 4-9 from the Message Bible which reads:
4 The Twenty-four Elders and the Four Animals fell to their knees and worshiped God on his Throne, praising, Amen! Yes! Hallelujah!
5 From the Throne came a shout, a command: Praise our God, all you his servants, all you who fear him, small and great!
6-8 Then I heard the sound of massed choirs, the sound of a mighty cataract, the sound of strong thunder: Hallelujah! The Master reigns, our God, the Sovereign-Strong! Let us celebrate, let us rejoice, let us give him the glory! The Marriage of the Lamb has come; his Wife has made herself ready. She was given a bridal gown of bright and shining linen. The linen is the righteousness of the saints.
9 The Angel said to me, "Write this: ''Blessed are those invited to the Wedding Supper of the Lamb.''" He added, "These are the true words of God!"
The Lord began to show me that this picture of worship in Heaven in Revelations is future but it is also the worship we can be a part of now here on the earth. As we worship our God and King, we are joining with all of heaven, the elders, saints, angels and four living creatures as we sing together as one voice - “Hallelujah to the Lamb!”
