Details:
Bob Buckridge is a singer-songwriter from Canton, Ohio. His major influences have been Bob Dylan, Gordon Lightfoot, and Arlo Guthrie, to name but a few. " I suppose that something from all of those people are present in most of what I do", he says, " but there are so many things, and so many other people, that influence the music that comes out of me. I''m sure that''s nothing too rare among musicians, or any one else for that matter. I think it''s the combination of things, and how they''re communicated through me, that hopefully, people will enjoy."

"High Water" is an album of songs that reach through the entire spectrum of all those influences. Done for the most part with just voice and acoustic guitar, there are songs that include bass, and a couple that feature even more musical accompaniment. All of the instruments on the first part of the album were played by Bob Buckridge himself. The last two tracks ( which are listed as bonus tracks ), feature some great musicians from Brooklyn, New York. They are: Josh Kaufman on electric guitar, Chris Buckridge on bass guitar, and Geoff Mann on drums, percussion, horns, keyboards, and background vocals. " Recording in Brooklyn was a lot of fun" says Bob, "and it was great to have the input of such accomplished musicians as these guys are. I feel very lucky to have them on my songs."
