These songs have been gathering up for years in the back room of Barry''s house. All along playing in punk and heavy rock bands. Finally, after being encouraged by his wife to bring them out into the open, a truly honest folk record has been born. Recorded in two days at Portland Oregon''s Type Foundry Studio with the basic idea of nylon string guitar, drums, and vocals. With the help of Adam Selzer and a number of bonus players the result is sparse and beautiful. Inspired by artist such as Nick Drake, Richard Buckner, and Bill Callahan "A Night Goes Through" is a ride through Autumn leaves and Blue Skies.
