Broken and Brave is the third and newest project from Holyfire. The heart of this CD is that our generation is broken having suffered through multiple divorces, school shootings and more, but God is reaching them, restoring them by His love and salvation, and raising them up to be brave and reach the world with His love.
Recorded in January 2006 over the course of three weeks this CD has continued to bloom as it has progressed. Grittier and more rocking than ever this project will have you out of your seat dancing and shaking your fist in the air like you were actually at a concert! This CD marks the departure of John as Holyfire''s drummer and welcomes Chris Boardman as their new drummer.
This CD also includes and enhanced portion containing lyrics and chord sheets for all songs, 2 bonus tracks entitled "Hold On" and "Together", and 3 live tracks that you can''t find anywhere else!
INFORMATION ABOUT HOLYFIRE:
Holyfire is a music and preaching ministry that seeks to awaken the church and lead the lost to Christ. We use music as a tool to reach the hearts of our listeners, and worship to carry the anointing of the Holy Spirit. We are not performers or entertainers. We share our music to communicate the heart of God to others. We generally focus our ministry around three specific areas. They are: repentance, impartation, and unity.
Holyfire believes that to see a nation-wide outpouring of the Holy Spirit the church and the world must be led to repentance. We must turn from compromise and mediocrity, and embrace a lifestyle of holiness.
Along with repentance, the body of Christ is in desperate need of impartation from the Holy Spirit. Holyfire seeks to bring an impartation of godly passion and hunger. We seek to move in the fullness of power that Christ has made available to the church.
Holyfire also seeks to tear down the boundaries that separate the body of Christ. Our ministry represents five different churches, and it is our goal to break down the barriers of race, age, and denomination, and bring true unity to God''s people.
Holyfire travels throughout the United States and abroad as a carrier of a flame. We desire to partner with churches and ministries that carry the same passion to see the kingdom of God come on the earth. Holyfire often ministers at churches, festivals or college campuses. We do one-time concerts or multiple meetings.
