As a boy growing up in North Philly during the 50''s & 60''s the 45 player got areal workout on Saturday afternoon. I loved sitting under the dining room table while my Dad sipped cheap beer from a Champagne glass and sang these tunes and many others like them, poorly. And so the spirit of songs that touch the heart and leave a lasting emotional impression got into me.
