Human life Index takes instrumental music to the extreme with integrity and conviction. With their new and unfamiliar sound, they will take you on a journey through odd times and imagination and especially for those of you who are familiar with Mahavishnu Orchestra, Miles Davis, Mike Oldfield and the like. It is an exciting band that strives to explore new territories and is not afraid to take chances and lead the way. Founding members, David Gaziel (drums/percussion) and Ali Shayesteh (guitars/saz/bouzouki), work with a variety of different local musicians and have a revolving group with whom they perform live and record. They add electric/acoustic cello and electric violin to create a huge and powerful sound. The band has been performing as an instrumental act since May 2003 and since then has opened for some great artists such as Steve Vai, Reeves Gabrels (David Bowie), Lili Haydn (George Clinton) and King’s X. Human Life Index should be placed in the “Anti-Generic Band” category. The band is currently recording their second Cd. (Last Updated 10/05/2006)
