The first incarnation of High Page Delay was started by EJ and Mich some years ago..... What it has become with the addition of Darren is "a pop rock trio writing quite original sounding songs". Promising the listener a disparate range of music influenced by everything from 70''s pop rock to 90''s shoegaze while never sounding like anyone but themselves. Their first ep, "Okay. Okay? Yeah!", showcases their diverse sound without ever meandering off course; perpetuating the belief that songs should be well crafted and intiutive, and makes clear, "there is no formula for this band". Stringing songs together that cover such a broad spectrum can be a risky endeavor, but High Page Delay manage to do it seemlessly. Few comparisons have been made to this band and rarely have they been duplicated. Keep an eye out for them. They are unique. And quite likely to have an impact on the Seattle music scene.
