Angle Of Repose was recorded and mixed at Avast studios in Seattle, WA. Wanting to create a studio album that has the energy of a live show, the band chose to track everything live. Playing each song three to five times and then choosing the best take, there was minimal overdubbing and all guitar and bass loops were done live using a boomerang pedal.
