It all begins in the heart of the twin cities, (tha Southside of Minneapolis) where a young M.C. (Master of his Circumference) rips through his opposition to earn respect and a name to fear (HEADAKE). From freestyles in the sixth grade, to writing battle rhymes that liquidated so-called emcees in his junior high school, it was logical to clear his path and make way for tha undisputed truth that no one can f*#k wit it. It was his knowledge of self that put him ahead of the rest, looking far down just to see the top. Gathering an elite few of potent artists the HI SKYWALKERS was born in 1996. This crew set the stage for the young hip-hop scene in Minneapolis and Saint Paul. Live shows were viewed as supreme lessons not performances. Headake’s independent entertainment company HS (H.O.G. SQOD) ENT was born in 2000, which presented HEASTRONG CHAMPIONS and dropped the first single holywater in 2001. This flooded the streets and gave new wind to artists who wanted to produce and distribute their own product and do da independent thang. Holywater baptized tha streetz and created the anticipation for the new sound of “Minnesota Hip-hop". With the unique formula of intelligent (Conscious), lawless (Gangsta), and mass moving (Spiritual) rap it has no fair competition.
HSENT simultaneously grows with a film company KREAM PROJECTS that has produced narratives and documentaries about hip-hop, its positive force, and also the negative forces that threaten our culture.
While constantly attacked by the wack, HEADSTRONG will defend the championship.
