Something super generic? Easy to attach to - as little thinking as possible. Erica grew up in.... She''s played with.... Right now she''s..... Ah Ha!! Now! Right now. Right now, I have just finished an album that I am super psyched about. It started off as a retreat into my own world - dropping off the face of the NYC music scene to hole up and just be creative - free of the scenes influences. I bought myself a new computer, protools, a couple of mics(2), speakers, headphones, a mic stand and just started to fuck around. Magically, great musicians/friends were interested and got involved. 95% of the album was recorded in my apartment in Brooklyn and if you listen real close you can hear a bus squealing to a halt on Lorimer street. I left in a lot of atmosphere on purpose, keeping it raw and organic . That''s one of my favorite things about this album - and it''s an album. There''s an order, a journey, a freakin Side A and a Side B! My album is my bio.
