Ewen Vires: Born Sept.24,1944 in Hazard,Ky.
His father was a Coal Minner for 30 years and had an Angel for a Mother.
While still just a child they moved to Indiana. Born the 7th child of 12 he started writting songs while in High School. After Graduating he spent 4 years in the Army.
In 2004 after the death of his oldest brother he made a promise to him that he would record some of his songs.
So His first Collection of "Country Christian Songs" is, Called Escape from Whiskey Heaven. This first album is done in Memory of his Brother.
Whiskey Heaven is Written about his brother James R. Vires.
