After25 years of complete dedication, Eddie has taken the guitar to a whole new level; in doing so he has created his own unique style of music. His music has been compared to that of the late Michael Hedges, John Mayer, Stanley Jordan, Johnny Lang and Jack Johnson. In addition to his own original style, Eddie has a large assortment of percussive singer songwriter, jazz, Blues, Funk, 70s R&B and Rock in his repertoire. His Vocal style adds a strong soulful air to his arrangements. Eddie Has won guitar competitions, singer songwriter, and battle of the bands competitions, in his hometown Vancouver, as well as Calgary, London On, Seattle Wa, and San Diego Ca.
Eddie spent six years building a strong following across Canada, and has been touring the States for the last two years, building his career and a following along the east coast and southern states.
ACOMPLISHMENTS
Before beginning his solo career Eddie had the pleasure of performing in a high-end jazz band that included Phil Robertson, drummer for Burton Cummings. He also had the honor of performing on the same bill as Mark Whitfield in Seattle. He has been playing steady gigs in everything from Acoustic venues, jazz and blues clubs, Theatres, and Festivals. He has been a headliner and opener for larger venues such as recently opening for the Pat McGee band, Sister Hazel, Monte Montgomery, Spoon Fed Tribe, Kim Deschamps from Blue Rodeo and Bare Naked Ladies. Eddie is driven to build his career through exposure by opening for larger bands in all genres. Recently Eddie''s music was featured on the BBC Radio network in the UK for a ten million audience. He has performed on TV stations across Canada and the U.S., as well as radio play on local radio stations across North America. The A channel filmed a commercial of Eddies unique style for an advertisement for the station, it was aired across western Canada a few times a day for a year, and gave Eddie great exposure. Currently Eddie is working the Austin Texas scene, and working on a side project with Stevie Ray Vaughn''s bass player. Eddie has landed steady gigs in Austin such as at Momos every Sunday night, following Warren Hood and Seth Walker.
