ellee ven’s “live your best life” approach has worked out well for the Los Angeles based artist. Honing in on her own genre she calls “groovetonics”, ellee ven has managed to get popular support from the music community. ellee ven’s most recent success came with the release of her CD/Vinyl series entitled PROJECT 11. ellee ven’s remix compilations have solidified her commitment to DJs for their constant support of her music. “DJs control the play list…they like a variety of music and so do their listeners. Think about Jay –Z releasing a single with Linkin Park, or Tim McGraw and Nelly. A teacher turned artist, ellee ven read a quote by Thoreau and had a “moment of clarity,” forcing her to start a new. She changed her name, resigned from her teaching position, got a divorce and started writing songs. “All life does is bring challenging times. It’s about remaining committed to your personal dreams and goals. It’s about using each day to move towards that goal.”.
ellee ven’s music has been placed on pop culture favorites MTV’s Real World and featured in numerous publications including Contour Magazine, Music Connection, DJ TIMES, Rolling Stone and Campus Circle.
Compared to indulgences like martinis and massages, her current, PROJECT 11 VOLUME2 hit the charts running and has already been charting worldwide for more than 10 weeks. Billboard Award-Winning Chris Brophy’s version of VACILLATION charted on DJ Pools nationwide.
Building on her mantra that anyone can make a difference through art, ellee ven’s annual Give Into The Groove event has enjoyed increased success. “ I haven’t sold a zillion albums, but I feel my music has touched people and that’s made me feel like a zillionaire”, beams ellee ven. Over 1000 people volunteered their time, talents and funds to the event.
