The Elle3 self titled debut album is a captivating record laden with sweet harmonies and tasteful driven guitar licks. This country shaded pop rock album is fronted with well thought out melodies, heart felt lyrics and distinguishable lead vocals.
Producer Jon Lowry has successfully put together a professional full length CD. The recording is straight forward and devoid of any gimmicks, it blends elements of rock and country with an earthy and honest originality. The musicianship is at the top of it''s field with notable guest artists, Brett Tuggle (Fleetwood Mac) and Walfredo Reyes (Steve Winwood).
Elle3 is a talented group of songwriters with great musical skill, following in the footsteps of artists like Sheryl Crow, Tom Petty, Shania Twain, and Fleetwood Mac.
Elle 3 has been writing material for their record for the past two years. After pre-production they anxiously began recording their CD at Artisan Sound Recorders. The three sisters, Allison, Lauren, and Ashley feel blessed to be able to work together and create a sound all their own. Their vocal blend, stage presence, lyric and melody writing combined, creates a true American style of music.
Lead singer Allison Lowry has been performing since she was a child. She has grown up singing in churches for congregations of thousands and has toured with her churches college group. Allison has performed at Warner Brothers Studios for the Ronald McDonald Foundation, as well as L.A. clubs such as 14 Below, and was last seen at Universal City''s BB Kings. Her studio experience includes singing background vocals with such luminaries as Valerie Carter and Roberta Freeman.
Principle lyricist Lauren Lowry is a music major and featured on keyboards and piano. She has been performing with various bands since she was fifteen, was awarded the " Outstanding Musician Award" her senior year of high school, and has sang back up for several albums.
" Harmony Maester" Ashley Lowry is the youngest and tallest member of the group. Her musical ear has propelled her classical style guitar playing and her ability to write amazing harmony lines. However, her magical fingertips don''t stop with the guitar, but excel as well on paper. Ashley is also an incredibly talented artist that has already sold one of her works of art and has won many awards.
All three girls have performed on various studio tracks as a unit and always love the excitement of stepping on to a stage.
Hey, I was at Snow Sumit on saturday the 07 and got to see about half of your show. What little I got to see live was really good. The bands'' really got a presence and I personaly like some of the country flare. You''ve got a well rounded sound that can appeal to alot of people. I really like the original songs that were played(the first one that caught my attention was "Empty wishes"). After I heard that song I decided to buy one of your cd''s. The next day I decided to listen to your album while hanging around my room. I was suprised to find out that the quality of the recording is excellent. The band sounds great on the album. But, the major plus were the songs. I''m guessing they are all original? I''ve never heard any of them before. Thats something many bands/singers can''t do or atleast not as well as yours. I''m from central Texas and in Austin we''ve got a huge music scene, I hope to see the band play down there some time....I really think you''d enjoy it. Well, keep making more good music and I''ll keep telling people about Elle3!!!-------Jeremy
