Emmy award winning composer Rich Dickerson’s solo project called
blind boy blue. Rich is the composer along with his partner Gigi Meroni for the Warner Bros. TV show “What’s New Scooby Doo?” In addition to scoring the series, Rich wrote the theme song which was recorded by the Warner Bros. band Simple Plan. Rich has also produced EG Daily’s “Changing Faces” CD and is currently producing recording artist Conchita.
During a Scooby hiatus, Rich decided it was time to record the songs that he wrote a few years ago upon first arriving in southern California. After driving across the country from NYC, Rich landed in California with a guitar, a small tape recorder and not much else. He spent a year living on a small sailboat, writing songs and discovering Los Angeles. The result is this collection of introspective, moving songs written in that period. Rich has been compared to David Gray, Damian Rice and Ray Lamontagne. Under the name
blind boy blue, Rich has released these 13 songs out to all that helped, hindered and loved.
