The CD, "The Hero I See", written and performed by Minnesota State University Maverick hockey team captain Chad Brownlee, is being sold to raise money for the Anthony Ford Foundation. The Foundation has been established to support underpriviledged children who wish to participate in youth hockey. The foundation is named in memory of Anthony Ford who passsed away at age nine last April. Ford died after an 18 month battle with leukemia.

Anthony Ford, an avid hockey fan, befriended many members of the Maverick hockey team. In honor of Anthony, Brownlee wrote the song "The Hero I See" which he performed at Anthony''s funeral.

Ford spent considerable time with members of the hockey team talking often of his dream of playing in the NHL. Brownlee memorializes the impact Ford had on his life and the lives of his teammates with the song lyrics:

"Your strength was more than a thousand men
We''ve all been amazed by you again and again
Your unselfish thoughts and care for another
Made me look up to you like you were my brother."

All proceeds from "The Hero I See" after manufacturing expenses are being donated by Chad Brownlee to the Anthony Ford Foundation in support of youth hockey.
