MP3 Drew Winters - Wanted Man

Part power-pop, part Adult Alternative bluesy pop/rock. A little ska for spice on occasion, a little Gospel for others.

10 MP3 Songs
POP: Power Pop, BLUES: Blues Vocals

Details:
A veteran of the Canadian music scene in Toronto, Drew has worked with many high profile artists in that vibrant
city... absorbing styles, influences and a wide range of musical tastes. Now he breaks out with ten original songs
on a new CD - ''Wanted Man'' - full of great grooves, interesting lyrics, catchy hooks and singable melodies.

From blues-based mid-tempo ballads like "One In A Million" and "How It''s Done", through a manic ska-based gotta-dance "Human Nature", to a gospel-tinged "Like A Blind Man", this collection of tunes grows stronger with each play.

Aided by the multi-talented Steve Sherman, and the beautiful harmonies of Suzie Burmester, this singer/songwriter
touches on the human condition through various metaphors...dreams, driving, mining, and more.

Some comments from listeners:

One In A Million
----------------
"It''s very difficult to pull off originality in your style of music, but you manage to do it perfectly. The vocals
and piano are especially good. Honestly, I can''t think of any way you could make the song better. It''s really good
and sets a great mood. It sounds like it would be great for a movie. The guitar solo is fantastic and fits in the
song well. Overall the song seems like a near perfect mix between alterantive and blues."

"This has a really great feel about it. The playing and singing is exceptional, the songwriting is brilliant. The
whole thing oozes class."

Human Nature
------------
"An unusual vibe and feel to this track... an almost samba beat drives it along and definitely put a smile on my
face. Vocal production is unusual and offers a nice mix of effects that demand and maintain attention. Musically
varied and well arranged, some time and effort has gone into the production of this track. But most importantly it
is catchy, and makes me want to hear more from this artist. What more can I say, I really liked this track, will
definitely be checking out more."

"This song throws you for a loop right at the start- in a Stanard Ridgway/Adam Ant kind of way- which is very good,
very original. Wonderful lush harmonies are setting off the lead vocal very nicely. Love the uptempo feel.... horn
part is very appropriate and part of what makes the track work so well. Like the guitar parts a lot. Gets the foot
tapping. Overall, a great tune!"

Digging For Diamonds
--------------------
"Very nice mix, cool guitar sounds, good production. The lead vocal and the harmony voicings remind a bit of Van
Morrison at times. This is a really engaging song melodically. It really pulled me in. The lyrics are well done, nothing trite or overused. I really love the feel of the song, too. This is marvelous work.... I look forward to
hearing more."

"First rate top 40 song here folks. Nice groove, nice Counting Crows-esque organ, outstanding vocalist. Seriously.
Memorable melody. Lyrics tell an entertaining story. This is just an all around solid song."
