Courtney''s song writing abilities began very early on when, at five, she wrote a song about the beauty of colours and at 7 wrote about love lost and heartbreak! Needless to say, she had a great imagination and an incredible ear for melody.
It was always very clear to Courtney that becoming a professional singer/songwriter was without question her destiny. "There were definitely times of confusion, you know, seeing your close friends becoming lawyers and doctors, but, with a little help and a lot perseverance, I knew that music was the only choice for me - the only thing that I could do for the rest of my life that would make me truly happy".
