Hailing from Denver, CO – Mason moved to Atlanta to pursue a college education at Morris Brown College, home of legendary songstress, Gladys Knight. While In Atlanta, GA – Monica Mason continued to pursue her first love, “MUSIC”. Traveling to Los Angeles, Mason scheduled a meeting with her hometown, childhood friend, from EMI’s Music Publishing, Big Jon Platt – Executive Vice President, Urban Music, U.S.
Platt’s advice to Mason was, “Bring me back some stronger material with a new sound.” It’s been two years since that meeting in Los Angeles, and she has taken his advice; her new project has been unleashed, the end result is this new release, “So Amazing!”
