A LITTLE WATER FOR YOUR SOUL.....You ever sat at your desk while at work and been like "what the hell am I doing with my life?" That’s the same question I asked my self countless times. I was working a Job, you know suite, tie, cup of coffee, a news paper, the man, post its, memos, company meetings, ass kissing, you know all that bullsh*t that goes while working for “the man.” I had a boss that thought he was God''s gift to earth, and I had this feeling in my heart that I was going to be miserable the rest of my life. I had to do something and do it now while I''m still young. Although I''ve been in the music industry professionally for over 5 years and worked with some of the best names in indie hip hop; I needed to take my career as well as my music to the next level! So I was forced to work my 9 to 5 to finance my Album "Untied." As soon as it was complete I said "fuck off to my boss," left work, jumped on stage and haven''t looked back since. It’s been the best year of my life. The only good thing about my job is it gave me a couple good song ideas such as "after work drink" and "untied." I used the office space as part of my story. Now when you see me on stage I wear the last outfit I wore the last day of work, a white shirt, red tie and my black pants. Helps remind me of where and how far I''ve come in my career. Although, I''m rich only on hope right now, it’s the feeling of freedom that I have that transcends into my album. In the beginning with songs like Untied, Holliday, revolution you can hear the boxed in feeling I had while working for the man. Then as the album progresses and the story line changes, just like my life, the songs change to reflect the passion and new sense of freedom I have. Examples of that are songs like “afterwork drink, paradise, and In the morning” to name a few. Either way this CD is better than 95% of what is on the radio. The stories are dramatic, humorous and will inspire a change in your life. It’s not just another cliché hip hop album full of bling bling, money boasting, f**k a bitch, “I''m the man” same old same old music you hear on the radio. It’s an album rich in stories of an everyday man just trying to make it. Life’s a journey pick up my album and begin yours, let it be the soundtrack to your life, a little water to your soul.
