In 2004, I was awarded North American Country Music Associations International( NACMAI) Horizon Songwriter of the Year Award for "Watermelon Nights."

Julie Burton, singer, and I (songwriter) were filmed for SMART COUNTRY TV/PAX TV to be aired in TENNESSEE AND KY in 2006. Julie sings 2 songs from my CD, entitled, ANOTHER COUNTRY NIGHT ("Tornado Love and No More Whiskey In My Soda"),as well as one of her songs (Like A Rocket).
