Will Allen shares his talents as a musician, songwriter, and singer in his debut album, Project 1. This soul calming collection of restful jazz tracks is a reflection of Will Allen's personal life experiences, featuring "For My Grandpa" and "Touch Away."
Will Allen has come from a long line of musicians. Born in a small town in Texas to a Reverend and Missionary, his first muscial influences came from the soul stirring melodies of old time gospel. Will started developing his musical talents by mastering the piano at the tender age of seven. The piano was only the beginning. While playing in his father's church, he also mastered the drums and a host a other instruments.
In Atlanta, Will Allen cultivated his talents as a singer/songwriter/musician while working with some of the music industry's most famous popstars. His skills as an engineer took shape during this same time period. After over twenty years of beinng in the "business", Will Allen decides to step out on faith and lay his heart and soul into his premier alblum, Project 1.
This project is twelve tracks of mellow music filled with emotion. All of the tracks were produced, written, and arranged by Will Allen.
