Anyone who has watched television has probably heard Todd Syring’s music, but didn’t know it. His music has captivated viewers 30 seconds at a time. Syring’s music has been featured in television commercials on major networks, as well as full length programs.
Syring’s music can be described as driving, melancholic, suspenseful, organic and serene. “I’m not looking for notoriety, I just have a passion to make music that evokes emotion in people.” Syring says. And that is exactly what he does.
In 2001 Syring released his CD ‘Prairie Dog’ a mostly acoustic spin on his deep sense of harmony and use of layered guitars.
Syring says about his CD ‘Prairie Dog’, “ . . . In commercials there is someone always talking over my music - not so on this CD. In fact there are no vocals at all. So what’s left is a raw and personal expression of hope, dreams and a basic energy. . . .”
