Thank you for visiting my humble but warm place. I wrote these songs for anyone who feels he/she is failure, alone, sad, hopeless, vagrant, or outsider themselves. But do not worry. We are just travelers all the times. I hope my songs could be your friends in your heart. yj
[theme]: "whether we are categorized as blue-collar or not, we are still being under controlled by our instincts in the name of destiny. my term, blue_collar_images, means human struggles and endeavors against ordinary lifetime pains. my ultimate goal for this project is to find beautiful harmonies from the tracks, the images, the sounds, and human relationships."
[concepts of each track]
1. nomadic instinct: human basic instinct, common origin and commonness, beginning of lifetime journey, anxiety, sadness, happiness, excitement, exploration, etc.
2. smile: a sense of alienation, poverty, mental desertification, dehumanization, ignorance, pity, between adaptation and maladaptation, anxiety, frustration.
3. homeless: poverty, excessive competition, dehumanization, frustration, escape from the reality, losing, etc.
4. bicycle: love and betrayal, loneliness, hapiness, true reasons for love, bicycle- symbolic meaning of sexual intercourse between woman and man
5. monetary soul: general materialism, secular success, excessive competition, judge a book by its cover, mindless, losing self, etc.
6. travelers: fatigue, tiresome, hope, escape, rests and pains, expecting new pleasures, sorrow, etc.
7. at rest area: thinking about family, self, friends, and life. home and shelter. 8. destination: ready for death, free''ing from anxiety, ultimate hapiness, no more burdens of life, revolutions, end of lifetime journey.
