Details:
For the last ten years Dutch has been found in one form or another changing the way the world listens to music . Whether it is producing an up and coming act, fronting his own project or touring as a highly sought after side man. You can always find Dutch on the cutting edge of what is happening in the alt. country or rock community.

As a producer he has worked on over a dozen releases including last year''s award winning Calle de Orleans by New Orleans artist Kim Carson and the debut release Where I Belong by Canadian artist Steve Benoit. He has worked in the studio with members of Wilco, Synamatic, Dash Rip Rock, Continental Drifters, The Alarm, Steve Cropper, The Bangles, Marion James and Jolene along with a long list of Nashville and New York''s finest session players. Known for his great guitar tones and "real" sounding release''s Dutch has made a name for himself as one of Nashville''s great young producers.

As an artist Dutch has seen the release of three full length CD''s and countless years of touring and sideman work. Playing with the likes of The Jayhawks, Mike Ness, Jack Ingram, Angie Aparro, Vertical Horizon, The Outfield and Webb Wilder to name a few. His unique guitar sound and uncanny knack for finding the "hook" has always kept him busy.

With the release of "Misery Junkie," Dutch has stepped out into the spotlight. After the demise of Crowd of One (the acclaimed alt-country band that Dutch played guitar with), Dutch returned to the studio to start on his debut album. Two years of writing had created a catalog of over thirty songs that needed to be whittled down to ten. After a few weeks of rehearsals he headed back to the friendly confines of The Tracking Station in Nashville, home of Crowd of One''s ''Rubbertramp'' album to start on what would become ''Misery Junkie.''

At his side this time would be an all star cast of friends that included Ken Coomer (Wilco), Lorne Rall (Robbie Fulks band), Kristi Rose and the remaining Crowd of One sidemen Lee Warren (Michelle Wright) and Michael Webb. With a new sense of direction and the help of co-producer Michael Webb (Stacy Earle, Mark Germino, The Brooklyn Cowboys, Pin Monkey and Allison Moore...) the album took shape quickly. Three weeks later came ''Misery Junkie'' the first album that captures Dutch as an artist. From the Replacement-like rockers " I think I''d like Myself," "What''cha going to do" and the Rolling Stones-esqe Contessa to https://www.tradebit.comntry classics like " Now More the Lately" you get the sense of what it''s like to be a ''Misery Junkie.''
