From my first guitar at the age of 9, I have been playing off and on most of my life. In 2007 I attended an open mic night in my local town, Stalybridge, to give some of my own songs a try. From this, I decided that my time in cover bands was over and took my solo projects to the road.
2008 saw my first solo EP, Prom Queen, recorded at Studio Monkeys in Mossley by Will Falkiner. This was completed with the help of friends Roydan Styles and Iain Taylor.
In 2008 I did a gig in Hebden Bridge (LiveSpace) and ended up performing with the excellent flautist Vicky Martin (Flute Girl). This gave another depth to my music, and since then we have been gigging together.
This year I have been busy gigging and completed a tour of Ireland with my partners in crime Garron Frith and Neil (Tea for One) Waddleworth. and crazy Kieth Myerscough.
Been working for the end of 2009 / 2010 on the new album " A Tale of 2 Halves" with some of the best musicians Pendle has to offer ( thanks to Vicky ). When complete some gigs will be done with a full line up. So watch this space when me, Vicky Mr Smith , Matt and Andy hit the road.
