Jerry Flowers better known as J-Flo to family, friends, and loved ones, J-Flo received our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ into his heart at age 5. As a teen, he cultivated his talent as a saxophone player but J-Flo has always taken an interest in rap music, but became frustrated with the message of rap as it was heavily influenced by worldliness and lies which exalts everything against scripture . Beginning purely as a hobby, his passion for poetry, love for Christ, and interest in rap music came together for purpose. At age 20, J-Flo launched his ministry as Christian rap artist with Seek and Save Records and Ministries, an organization he also helped co-found.
J-Flo is a young man of many achievements. Most recently, he is an honors graduate of Texas Southern University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. Also a graduate of Westfield High School in Houston, Texas, he has released his first Christian Rap CD, “Dead 2 Sin” in 2009 from there his CD sparked a "Dead 2 Sin Tour" which reached from Texas all the way to Florida. J-Flo has ministered in over 100 churches and events to hundreds of young people in Houston and the surrounding areas, God has also used J-Flo to bring hundreds back to Christ by influencing young people to renounce their live of sin and purse Christ. J-Flo is also branching out in the United States through I Tunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, Radio stations and interviews, live appearances, and album sales.
Having received his ministerial license in 2008, J-Flo is the founder and director of the B.L.A.Z.E.R.S., the male step ministry of Time of Celebration Ministries Church. He also facilities the youth rap sessions and ministers the Word of God during the Youth and Adult Church services at Time of Celebration. J-Flo is a young man with a passion to live for Christ and longs to leave a legacy of Godliness and faithfulness
