Looking back I can distinctly remember the day as a twelve year old child I cried out to God asking Him for the gift of singing. I had so much to say - perhaps I could express it through song.
Recording this CD has been an incredible journey for my family and I. Initially I set out to make a simple recording of the songs that had inspired and ministered to me over the years however the project evolved quite a bit .
The last words my Pop Alec Tinker said to me were ‘never ever give up on your music’. Life doesn’t always turn out the way we plan it, there are unexpected twists and turns, zig zags along the path of life. Sometimes it appears we’ve come to the end of a path but it is just a bend in the road, and the journey that follows is far richer and rewarding. Don’t give up on your dreams sometimes you just need to alter them slightly!
All year long we can celebrate the giving of God’s indescribable gift to mankind – His Son, Jesus Christ. Eternal life is the greatest gift we can ever receive, absolutely free, possible only through our confession and belief in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
