The Coalition is an American band that produces both mainstream music and fight music for fighters/fans of mixed martial arts. The name "The Coalition" represents the cohesiveness of a band which rejects the superficial notion of diversity among the individuals. The core members consist in part of 2 bands from Nor Cal (Northern California). The Relles (rap duo) and Statecyde (producer). As true musicians, they have been known to do collaborations with other talented artists including Sacramento''s Beyond the Grove and Boston''s Sharmera, who help make Coalition Fight Music a diverse and unique brand of music. "The Coalition" and associated bands are racially diverse, having members who grew up in widely different economic, religious and cultural households but have been united by their common personal philosophies, love of music and passion for MMA. CFM''s sound is a dynamic mixture of styles that range from metal to electronica and hip hop to UK grime. United by a passion/drive for both MMA and music, every track the band develops encompasses the "fighters spirit" in the form of music.
