Sometimes life really takes the wind out of your sails. It''s then that you''re brought down to earth. I''ve always thought I was an earthy sort of person. When dreaming up a title for this CD I was kind of grabbed by this phrase. Life at 41 years of age is different than I had imagined. I still love it and love being able to be in the magic of music.
This album was to be the last of the trio from the studio work I started in 1999. I used most of the remainder of those songs, but I also recorded some more songs as well. Don Richmond appears on three tunes on this album. His deft fingerwork is a joy to play alongside.
Hope this album brings you down to earth too.
